Matt is a genuinely indebted husband to a wonderful woman who is his partner & caregiver as he goes through countless orthopedic & neurological surgeries. Its also a family affair with Matt's wife Amy working to ensure patients who need access to infused biologic medications have the opportunity as a part of Palmetto Infusion

Before Matt became interested in healthcare advocacy, had to be his first advocate battling insurance companies after breaking his neck in 2005. To the date of that injury, Matt had already realized 3 knee reconstructive surgeries (all due to athletics - Go Ohio State Buckeye Lacrosse!). At the end of 2022, Matt will have completed his 12th surgery, the 4th on his spine.
